A collection of resources about accessible learning and teaching.
Teaching staff should use the Canvas Accessibility Guidelines for checking content in the Guided Learner Journey. This includes useful guidance on Heading Styles, Labelling Tables and Images, Colour Contrast and Inserting Links.
Uploaded files should also be checked. For example, for Microsoft Office files, use their Accessibility Checker. Pre-recorded video, produced after September 2020, will require captioning or an attached transcript.
LCS has created a useful reading list.
LTIC will be holding staff workshops on a regular basis. Schools and/or Programmes wishing to hold a workshop locally are welcome to contact LTIC for support (firstname.lastname@example.org).
