Podcasting using Audacity
This folder contains a number of resources to support the use of podcasting in teaching from a pedagogical and technological perspective. Podcasting allows your students to access audio content that you or a third party have produced in order to supprt their studies. If you are new to podcasting you may find the BBC Podcasting site useful. It contains a wide range of podcasts as well as background material on what podcasting is and the different ways of accessing podcasts.
The resources listed below show you how to use podcasting in your teaching and offer help with the technologies associated with the production and distribution of podcasts.
The flexible learning project team recommend the use of Audacity, a free software application when editing sound files. There are full instructions on the use of Audacity (and the add in LAME) in the resources listed below.
